The Individual Supporter membership is an annual membership, valid for a
period of one year. As an individual member of the Pharos Arts Foundation,
you will be the first to find out about all our events and you will be given
the opportunity to reserve your tickets online or via the telephone and pay
at the door if you wish a service offered only to our members. Tickets are
much cheaper when you are a member and you receive a number of benefits
depending on the level of membership you have chosen.
Once you make a donation, your membership will be immediately activated and
you will receive your membership card within a couple of weeks.
You will then start receiving information about each of the events organised
by the Pharos Arts Foundation either by E-mail or post (we highly recommend
E-mail as the fastest and greener method, so please make sure that you
include your E-mail address on the contribution form).
FAQs
How many tickets can I purchase as an Individual Supporter for each
event?
It depends on the level of your membership but as a rule of a thumb the
three upper levels (Supporters, Pharos Circle and Patrons) are based on a
two-ticket membership. This means you can buy two tickets at reduced price
for each event. For the first level (Contributors) there is an option as to
whether you would like to become a single or couple member. As a single
member you will be entitled only to one discounted ticket per event, whereas
as a couple member you will be entitled to two tickets.
How do I get tickets?
You may reserve your tickets over the telephone or online through the
Foundation's Box Office. You can then pay for your tickets on the day of the
concert at the door.
How long is my membership valid for?
Memberships are valid for a year (on a calendar year basis). It is best to
become a friend or renew your membership at the beginning of each year to
enjoy all the benefits of the membership.
Will I receive a tax receipt for my membership?
Contributions are fully tax deductible under Cyprus law. All contributions
can be deducted in their
entirety from the supporter's annual income tax. The Pharos Arts Foundation
is a Cyprus registered charitable trust registered with the Supreme Court of
Cyprus by Deed No 91 deposited in the Supreme Court.
Why become a member?
As a non-profit organization, the Pharos Arts Foundation is directly
dependent on sponsorship and other contributions for the continuing
development and enrichment of its programmes and for maintaining the high
standard of its activities. Any increase in your payment towards your
membership allows us to present the world's most sought-after artists, offer
a number of free educational projects to students of primary, secondary and
higher education, stimulate cultural development and intellectual and
artistic growth.
Are Individual Supporter tickets available for all events?
Yes
How can I pay for my membership?
We accept cash, credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners)
and cheque or you can make your contribution by bank's standing order/direct
debit.
Is monetary contribution the only way to support the Pharos Arts
Foundation?
No, The Pharos Arts Foundation accepts contributions in kind, most
contributions of this type being for office equipment or costs associated
with specific events. Contributions in kind are recognised as the equivalent
of their monetary value and are acknowledged in the same fashion as other
contributions. Examples include: Donation of musical instruments or other
equipment. Provision of video/audio/photographic services or materials.
Provision of computer equipment and other office equipment. Provision of
airline tickets, hotel accommodation, catering services, wine or flowers.
The Foundation also accepts donations of assets such as shares, bonds and
property, which may be sold and reinvested in agreement with the donor for a
pre-agreed funding purpose. We will be pleased to receive your ideas.
