The Pharos Arts Foundation continues its long-established collaboration with Instituto Cervantes, and they are presenting a fascinating concert with the female guitar Dúo Arcadia. Comprised by guitarists Avelina Vidal Seara and Pilar Rius Fortea, the Dúo Arcadia is committed to artistic creation and the development of new works, as well as the dissemination of existing ones. Specialised in exploring the resourcefulness hidden in the instrument of guitar, the Duo has performed in numerous internationally renowned festivals and venues, and it has received raving reviews from the audience and music-critics alike.
For its concert in Cyprus, on Thursday 16 December 2021, at The Shoe Factory in Nicosia / 8:30pm, the Dúo Arcadia will present an exciting and diverse programme of works by Joaquín Rodrigo, María Rodrigo, Hans W. Henze, Matilde Salvador, Toru Takemitsu, Giuseppe Causa, Mª José Cordero and Ivan Lyran. The concert is kindly supported by the Embassy of Spain in Cyprus.
Το Ίδρυμα Τεχνών Φάρος συνεχίζει τη μακρόχρονη συνεργασία του με το Ίδρυμα Θερβάντες στην Κύπρο, παρουσιάζοντας μια συναρπαστική συναυλία με το γυναικείο κιθαριστικό Dúo Arcadia. Αποτελούμενο από τις κιθαρίστριες Avelina Vidal Seara και Pilar Rius Fortea, το Dúo Arcadia είναι αφοσιωμένο στην καλλιτεχνική δημιουργία και την ανάπτυξη νέων έργων καθώς και τη διάδοση του υφιστάμενου ρεπερτορίου. Το Ντούο αναδιφά συνεχώς την επινοητικότητα που κρύβει το όργανο της κιθάρας, και έχει εμφανισθεί σε αμέτρητα διεθνούς φήμης φεστιβάλ και αίθουσες μουσικής, έχοντας αποσπάσει διθυραμβικές κριτικές τόσο από το φιλόμουσο κοινό όσο και από τους μουσικοκριτικούς.
Για τη συναυλία του στην Κύπρο, την Πέμπτη 16 Δεκεμβρίου 2021, στο The Shoe Factory, Λευκωσία / 8:30μμ, το Dúo Arcadia θα παρουσιάσει ένα εντυπωσιακό και ποικιλόμορφο πρόγραμμα με έργα των Joaquín Rodrigo, María Rodrigo, Hans W.
