ACCIO PIANO TRIO

The Trio made its debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus in 2015 and has since performed extensively all over the world, appearing at such important venues, series and festivals as Kennedy Center in Washington, Shenzhen Concert Hall in China, Salzburg Mozart Week, Portogruaro International Music Festival, Badia Musica Festival, Musiktage Mondsee, Mersin International Music Festival, Milton Court and Conway Hall in London, Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg, and Schloss Goldegg Castle in Austria, in a concert that was broadcast by the national radio – Österreich 1 and featured a premiere by composer Jakob Gruchmann. 

Winner of major awards including the First Prize at the Carl Wendling Competition for Chamber Music in Stuttgart (2023), the Second Prize at the 9th International Johannes Brahms Chamber Music Competition in Gdańsk (2022), and the Third Prize at the 30th International Johannes Brahms Competition in Pörtschach (2024), the Trio has, since 2014, been supported by Yehudi Menuhin’s Live Music Now foundation, and was selected twice for the national Austrian competition Musica Juventutis.

During the 2024/25 season, the Accio Piano Trio is collaborating closely with the International Mozarteum Foundation as Featured Artist in the Mozart’s World programme. They have also been selected for The New Austrian Sound of Music (NASOM) scheme of the Austrian Foreign Ministry, representing Austria internationally as cultural ambassadors in 2025/26. The Trio’s repertoire spans central works of the classical tradition alongside lesser-known repertoire, with particular attention to music by female composers and a sustained commitment to contemporary writing.
