Giovanni Bertolazzi

Having established himself as one of the most compelling pianists of his generation, Giovanni Bertolazzi has earned worldwide acclaim for his exceptional artistry and technical brilliance. A laureate of over 40 prestigious international piano competitions, including the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest, where he secured the Second Prize and five special prizes in 2021, Bertolazzi is widely celebrated for his commanding performances and profound interpretations, his playing has been described as delivering “a pianistic drama of overwhelming power and poetry.” The Pharos Arts Foundation, in collaboration with the Keyboard Charitable Trust, will present the Cyprus debut recital of this remarkable pianist. Bertolazzi is certain to astound the audience with his virtuosity in a programme of exceptional depth and technical complexity, featuring works by J. S. Bach/Busoni, Beethoven, Verdi, and Liszt.
