The compelling Anahit Chaushyan returns to The Shoe Factory for an enchanting all-Armenian piano recital. Born into the fourth generation in a family of professional musicians, she has appeared as a soloist all over the world, in venues such as the Wigmore Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and the St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London, the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Grande Salle du Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles and Salle Gaveau in Paris. For her recital in Nicosia, Anahit will take us on a unique journey to the distinctively rich and nuanced piano music of Armenia, delivering a programme of piano master-pieces by Komitas, Ruben Sargsyan, Geghuni Chitchyan, Vache Sharafyan, Gayane Chebotaryan and Levon Chaushyan.
