Diana Tishchenko

After the victory at the prestigious 2018 International Competition Grand Prix Jaques Thibaud in Paris, the career of Ukrainian-German violinist Diana Tishchenko has rapidly taken off.

Diana has appeared at major concert halls across Europe such as Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Philharmonie de Paris, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Konzerthaus Vienna, Barbican London, Philharmonie Cologne, Bozar Brussels and Birmingham Symphony Hall, to name but a few.

Tishchenko has appeared as a soloist with such renowned orchestras as Liverpool Philharmonic, Strasbourg Philharmonic, Shenzhen Symphony, Shanghai Symphony, Hamburger Symphoniker, Orchestre National d’Ile de France. Recent concerto debuts include Budapest Festival Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Gürzenich Orchestra at the Philharmonie Cologne, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and a tour with Kyiv Symphony including appearances at Berliner Philharmonie, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Konzerthaus Berlin and Boulez Saal. She has collaborated with conductors including Ivan Fischer, Francois-Xavier Roth, Pierre Bleuse, Joshua Weilerstein, amongst others.

Diana’s debut album Strangers in PARadISe for Warner Classics received a  great critical acclaim, with BBC Music Magazine awarding it a five star, whilst The Strad praised Diana’s “big-hearted, charismatic playing… spontaneity and eloquence… and her sheer imaginative flair.”
