Quartetto Eos

The Quartet has already achieved significant success in international competitions, including the First Prize at the Orpheus Chamber Music Competition in Winterthur in 2020, the Special Prize at the 13th International String Quartet Competition Premio Paolo Borciani in Reggio Emilia, the International Chamber Music Competition Anton Rubinstein in Düsseldorf in 2019, and the First Prize at the Amur New Talents Competition in Milan in 2024. In 2023, they were semifinalists at the 77th edition of the prestigious Geneva Competition.

Quartetto Eos regularly appeared in Europe’s most prestigious venues, festivals and concert series including Philharmonie de Paris, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Società del Quartetto in Milan, Davos Festival, Istituzione Universitaria Concerti (IUC), Flagey in Brussels, among many others. The Eos frequently collaborate with prominent musicians like Calogero Palermo – principal clarinet of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Aron Chiesa – principal clarinet of Teatro alla Scala, pianist Enrico Pace, cellists Enrico Dindo and Cristian Poltéra, as well as the Jerusalem Quartet and Quartetto di Cremona. The Quartet has been selected for the prestigious MERITA project, promoted by Le Dimore del Quartetto, an association supporting string quartets, with whom they have been affiliated since 2017.

In 2022, Quartetto Eos released their debut album, fully produced and funded by Da Vinci Records, featuring works by Janacek, Mendelssohn, and Webern. In 2024, they recorded a CD with music by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari, funded by COOP ART in Rome and the Accademia degli Sfaccendati, and produced by the Brilliant Classics label. Subsequently, they recorded the complete string chamber music of Giovanni Sgambati with the Tactus label.
