Dedicated to endorsing some of the rarest young talents on the international music scene today, the Pharos Arts Foundation continues its longstanding collaboration with the Keyboard Charitable Trust in London, to present the brilliant Welsh pianist Luke Jones.
Prize-winner in a number of international piano competitions such as the Second Prize and the Mompou Prize at the prestigious Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Barcelona, the First Prize in Chopin-Roma International Piano Competition in Italy, and the Third Prize at the Manchester International Concerto Competition in the UK, Luke Jones has already appeared in such prestigious venues as Salle Cortot in Paris, Philharmonie de Luxembourg, Mozarteum Wiener Saal in Salzburg, Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona, the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, to name but a few.
For his debut in Cyprus, on Wednesday 14 October 2020 at the Pharos Arts Foundation’s recital venue, The Shoe Factory in Nicosia / 8:30pm, Luke will perform a wonderful programme of works by J.S. Bach, Handel and Beethoven.
